BASIC RATE SCHEDULE

TICKETED AND NON-TICKETED EVENTS

Authority:
The Center is owned by the City of Miami & operated by Leisure Management International under an exclusive management agreement with the City.

RENT - Ticketed Events: JAMES L KNIGHT CENTER

All space (4,800 seats) $2,600 or 12 % of gross ticket sales, whichever is greater.

Floor and first tier (2,800 seats) $1,650 or 12 of gross ticket sales, whichever is greater. This area is divisible from the upper seats by a curtain.

RENT - Non-Ticketed Events:

JLK rental rates for general sessions: Floor and First Tier: $1,800.00, All Space: $2,900

City of Miami Ticket Surcharge:

There is a City of Miami surcharge for every ticket sold, as follows:

Taxes:

All rentals are subject to the applicable Florida state sales tax (6.5%)

Insurance:
Depending on the amount of space required for an event, insurance will be required at a minimum of $1,000,000 coverate each for bodily injury & property damage. Insurance specifics will be outlined in the contract submitted for space use.

Security:
The Center maintains general security for building areas & periodic patrols. The Center will provide, & the user will be charged for all event related security. All security arrangements including police must be coordinated with, & approved by the JLK Building Services Manager. This will include staff security personnel and off duty police.

Box Office: (ONLY FOR TICKETED EVENTS):
The Center has a full service Box Office with remote Ticketmaster computer outlets, charge by phone for advance sale purchases and day of show sales. The Center will allow tickets to be distributed only through Ticketmaster outlets for all JLK events. The Center will have complete custody & control of all monies received from the sale of tickets for the purpose of applying payment of any balances for rent or otherwise due to the Center. Charge for Box Office services will be 4% of gross ticket sales.

Services and Facilities included in basic rental:
House lighting, ventilation, heat or air conditioning as required during event. (In recognition of the need to conserve energy, a minimum level of comfort will be maintained during non-event hours)

Stagehands:
The Center offers a full service staff of stagehands supervised by a Head Steward Through the IATSE Local 545. See rates attached.

Food Services, Catering, Concessions & Novelty:
Arrangements for serving food and beverages will be coordinated with the Hyatt Hotel. Backstage menus are available upon request. The Knight Center retains the rights of all novelty sales (records, books, t-shirts, programs, etc...) The house charge is 35% after applicable taxes.

Audio-Visual:
All Audio-Visual requirements can be supplied at a charge upon request tot he Event Services Manager.

Exhibit Electrical & Utility Services:
The Center serves as its own electrical utility services contractor. Electrical & utility rates are available upon request.

**THE JAMES L. KNIGHT CENTER HAS AN EXCLUSIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE MIAMI STAGE EMPLOYEES LOCAL #545 OF THE INTERNATIONAL ALLIANCE OF THEATRICAL STAGE EMPLOYEES (IATSE) TO PROVIDE ALL LABOR REQUIRED FOR ANY PRODUCTION, PERFORMING OR EXHIBITION, INCLUDING CONVENTIONS, TRADE SHOWS, MEETINGS, BANQUETS, ENTERTAINMENT, SPORTS ACTIVITIES AND CONSUMER SHOWS HELD IN THE JAMES L. KNIGHT CENTER. THE CHARGES FOR SUCH SERVICES AS MAY BE REQUIRED BY THE USER ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL OF THE VENUE AND WILL BE ADDED TO THE FINAL BILL. PREVAILING RATES FOR THE IATSE LABOR ARE AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST.
